Casa Martina is located in the historical centre of Moniga del Garda, near the medieval castle. Although in recent decades the country has grown to follow the natural development of tourism, the old town still retains its narrow alleys on which open balconies full of flowers and fragrant Jasmine espaliers. The historic centre has not lost all the rustic look of the farming village that Moniga was for centuries and, apart from old doors, you can see the barnyards of farmhouses still ready to accommodate the products of surrounding land. The oldest part of the village, in “the well”, you can see glimpses of Lake and architectural details. The commune of Moniga, from the morainic hill slopes gently down to the Lake Garda on which he built his small Harbor stocked with modern equipment for hauling boats, for their maintenance and supply. The long walk by the Lake in the days of summer comes alive with swimmers, mostly foreigners, and in the evening is one of the favorite gathering spot by young people who flock to clubs filled with lights and music.
